Positive: What a charming cabin! For anyone looking for a true Northwoods feel, this is it! We found it to be very clean and stocked for all of our needs. It was close enough to Minocqua to visit several shops while we waited for the rain to stop. It was conveniently located across from the Willow Flowage and next to a resort/campground that had a bait shop and firewood to purchase. In the evening, we utilized the bbq grill stored in the shed and had plenty of light from the outside yard light to see our cooking. After a relaxing bonfire, we played one of the many games provided. The next day we went kayaking on the nearby Tomahawk River using the river map we found in the helpful and clever information binder. We wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the Rustic Willow Retreat and all its amenities like the little sandy beach just across the street! We will definitely be back!

Negative: It would be nice to have a small table by the fire to set our drinks on.
