Northeast Iowa Farm Cottages is located on a working farm near Sumner, IA. We are just 15 minutes from Upper Iowa University in Fayette. Stay in one of our two newly renovated farm buildings, with accommodations for up to 12 people. Our cottages are perfect for families hoping to experience Iowa farm life, or a quiet weekend away from the city. Staying with us will give you a unique experience that you just can’t get staying in a hotel Hunters and construction workers welcomed!
The space
Guests have access to both cottages and the adjacent fire pit, park barbecue and picnic table area. Guests are also welcome to use the patio area by the house and swing set. The main cottage has a kitchen area, 2 large bathrooms, laundry, and a large game room with a living room area. The main cottage has sleeping for four.
The bunk house cottage is sleeping only, for up to eight people. (Guests will use the bathrooms in the main cottage.) It has a bedroom with 1 queen bed and a main room with a queen bed and 2 bunk beds. There is also the possibility of additional sleeping with a futon and couch.
A large outdoor shower is available, located between the 2 cottages, May 1 to September 30th.
