Summary: I was so excited to see this location pop up in my Expedia search when we were planning a trip to California to drop our son off at college. It had enough space for the whole family to stay together and a kitchen so we could buy groceries and cook to save some cost on this trip. The positive: Enough beds to sleep the whole family, beds were comfortable. Our parking spot was available. The neighborhood was nice and easy access for travel. The negative: We were charged an additional $45 at the online check in which I felt should have been part of the initial cost when booking through Expedia. The document they sent/user agreement would not load. Dishwasher had a few inches of moldy water sitting in it. It smelled and I contacted Marbella who sent a handyman out to take measurements (we were at the unit for 6 days, they did not repair or clean it during our stay). Ants! Ants throughout the kitchen, on the counter and sink. We made them aware of this with the dishwasher email. We had throw some of the food away. Ants were also in the coffee pot and on the filters. We were gone when the handyman came, so not sure what they sprayed or where, but there were dead ants all over the sink and counter when we came back. They didn’t clean it up and the utensil storage they had sitting out was not moved, so insecticide may have made contact with them. If they sprayed in the cupboards, the dishes probably got insecticide residue on them too. I have more to say, but out of characters.
