Travel Purpose: business

Positive: LOVED that we were able to "check-in" by using door key code rather than meeting anyone at a specific time (would have been hard to do with the unpredictability of traffic!). Very cute 2-story unit with two separate bedrooms was perfect for two interns to stay for our 2-week rotation in Jacksonville, FL. Clean on arrival with full kitchen (oven, stove, dishwasher, sink, freezer/fridge). Washer and dryer in-unit! 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, 1 half-bath). Street parking easily available directly in front of front door. Check-out process also very easy and convenient (over email).

Negative: Smelled quite moldy/mildewy when entering each time we came home (though cleared after some time of opening windows and likely a common problem in FL!). Initially could not find where to place trash but bin located on side of street behind unit. Also no cooking pans for the oven in-unit. (Though I am sure the property owner would have provided these had I contacted them and requested.) Listing stated strict quiet hours, however we found the neighborhood to be quite noising all night long (VERY loud train, neighbors, people walking around and talking, other vehicles, etc.).

Summary: Very cute, "beachy" unit comfortable for two for short stays!
