Come stay in our mountain cabin hideaway!
We have three bedrooms with new queen size beds, two up stairs, one downs stairs along with two full bathrooms. The house is professionally cleaned, sanitized and stocked for your comfort.
There is a large wrap around deck overlooking a beautiful meadow full of wildlife to watch and enjoy.
We have a fully stocked kitchen for cooking needs.
The living room area is large and open with lovely, comfortable furnishings.
You step out the front door and are surrounded by native pine trees over a hundred years old, a large meadow view off of the back porch with a near by pond attracting wildlife, large and small.
You and your family can enjoy leisurely walks or sitting under the trees enjoying nature and fresh air.
Yosemite is approximately a one hour drive (40 miles) along the Merced River which journeys through gorgeous canyons into the park.
For advanced hikers our home is two miles from one of the most beautiful hikes in Mariposa. Search: “Hite's Cove trail” for details.
We allow pets but you will need to sign a pet policy and your pet is never to be left alone in the home.
Historical downtown Mariposa is 20 minutes away with gold mining, rock museums, shopping, restaurants and antique stores. You can hop on the YARTS bus into the park in several locations in town. Bus fare includes admission into the park.
The house is near the Yosemite Bug hostel with a restaurant upstairs and below a luxurious peroxide spa, cedar sauna, yoga studio and massage, 17 miles away on the way to Yosemite. Wawona golf course is 46 miles.
Yosemite zip line tours are just outside of the town of Mariposa 16 miles.
Chuckchansi Casino is 37 miles away with live shows and several restaurants.
Bass Lake is 32 miles away with boating, jet skiing, fishing and swimming.
Zephyr white water river rafting is 31 miles away on the Merced river, or just simply relax and enjoy the all the fresh air at our home away from home.
