The Space:
The Lodge on Oaxaco is a great compromise between those wanting a large modern home and those wanting a cabin in the woods. The knotty wood beam ceilings and log accents make this newer home still feel like Tahoe. Two major features of this home are the game room and the extra parking. You won’t find many homes with a 4 car garage. You can park all cars inside and out of the snow. No shovelling off your cars after a storm! The homeowner is in the middle of getting his hot tub replaced so right now the hot tub is not functional. But don’t let that stop you, because between the massive deck and game room — you won’t be disappointed!
NEIGHBORS
The neighbors surrounding this home are very sensitive to noise so as a request to them, we can only host quieter groups. They have stated that if guests are loud past 10pm, they will alert the VHR compliance hotline which will issue large fines to guests if they arrive to the home and find guests being loud so please heed our warning on this. Quiet groups only.
ENTERTAINMENT
There is a Smart TV in every bedroom, not to mention one in the living room and one in the game room so plenty of areas to Netflix n chill. There is WIFI available for you. In the game room there is a pool table, card table and bar. There is a large upper deck and gas BBQ. The living room has a Smart TV and gas fireplace open to the kitchen and dining room.
MAN CAVE / GAME ROOM
A major highlight of this home is the incredible Billiard room downstairs complete with card table, pool table and a huge bar for the boys! This is the ultimate man cave or kids area. There is a door to this area for added sound proofing and privacy. You almost feel like you are in your own little casino. It’s a pretty cool space. There is a deck off the game area that overlooks the forested backyard. There is also a gas fireplace for added ambiance.
LOCATION
Located in Meyers, this home is just outside of South Lake Tahoe proper but closer to the fun attractions Meyers has to offer. Tube Tahoe is located in Meyers which is South Lake’s prime tubing spot in the Winter. Here you are about 25 mins to Heavenly ski resort and 15 mins to Sierra at Tahoe ski resort. You are right off highway 50 so no sitting in traffic on Sunday mornings to leave. In the Summer, you are almost walking distance to Paradise Park and Lake Barron which is a local’s best kept secret. When Lake Tahoe beaches are full, this is where we go to play. Shhh! Holiday Market is the closest grocery store which is about a 3 min drive. Meyers also has tasty restaurants like Getaway Cafe, Frescana, Bob Dog Pizza and Sombreros. Last but not least, Lake Tahoe is a short 15 min drive away!

TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCE
The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to EVERY home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come! :)
1. 10pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals.
2. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box.
3. We cannot host extra people or allow parties.
4. We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or dirt.
PLEASE NOTE: If a neighbor alerts the police to any ordinance violations, they may come out and issue you a fine. In order to protect the owner’s rental permit, we do reserve the right to ask you to leave. Things rarely escalate to that level because most of our guests are lovely but it can happen. We always give our guests the benefit of the doubt and will alert you if we know a neighbor is disturbed. Please have the phone associated with the number on your profile handy in case we need to text you. Thank you!
The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.

You will check in by going right to the home using our keyless entry system. Your door code is the last 4 digits of your booking phone number followed by the check mark button that will activate at 4pm.
