Summary: Our son needed specialized surgery that required a few weeks of local follow up. We stayed here for about four weeks while needing to continue to work remotely. The home was perfect for our needs. The owners are apparently open people. They left a fully equipped kitchen and a home with lots of personal details. It is located in a very pleasant residential community with close proximity to beaches, grocery and pharmacy needs. Arroyo Burro Beach County Park, also know as Hendry's Beach is a 1.7 mile walk or jog along a bike trail with a delightful restaurant that became our beach favorite. One of us used a spare bedroom for Zoom meetings. The other used the cottage up the hill with a view of the Santa Ynez Mt Range and the Pacific Ocean. The cottage WiFi is weak but it has a live coax cable connection. Using that we were able to use a single MoCA adaptor to establish a high speed ethernet cable connection for reliable Zoom meetings. The landscaping is lovely with lots of interesting features. Our son's surgery went well. We loved this place and hope to return under more relaxed circumstances.
