‘Prospector Peak’ is a classic country house sitting on 6 acres with stunning views of the Sierra Foothills. This is the perfect setting to unwind and to get away from it all, yet less than 5 miles from the fun of historic Murphys.
Built in 2005, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1,800+ sq ft country home is entirely yours to enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with all the tools needed for the master chef, and the entertainment center is stocked with DVDs and Xbox games for the kids. But the biggest draw is not what is there, but what isn’t: noise, pollution, and stress.
The house is deep in the country outside of Murphys. There are no crowds or traffic in this setting - just rolling hills and lush country. Plan on driving on a dirt road for the final stretch.
The town of Murphys is a little less than 5 miles away. There, you’ll find multiple wineries, restaurants, antique shops, and other attractions.
The towns of Angels Camp (6 miles) and Columbia (18 miles) are just a short drive, as is Bear Valley Ski Resort. Big Tree State Park is roughly a 30 minute drive, and Yosemite is roughly 1.5 hours away.
