San Diego International Airport, formerly known as Lindbergh Field is only 2.6 miles away so outside the cottage does have a potential to be a bit noisy but the views of the flight path and San Diego’s Harbor view where the SUNSETS WILL FOREVER BE REMEMBERED. The views are unique and captivating and this quaint cottage is at the heart of it all. The cottage is in the flight of the airport so airplane noises outside are a disturbance but rest assured when inside with windows shut…all outside noises are mute. Cottage is equipped with double pane windows to ensure a good nights sleep.
Warning to guests this cottage when outside is prone to lots of loud noises from the airplanes as you are in direct landing path. Yet inside with all windows shut cottage is very quiet because it features double pane windows which mask all outside noise completely.
