Play some games, do a puzzle or eat and watch the birds outside on the patio table. 10 steps and your at the pool. Private and quiet. Sit back and enjoy the scenery and gardens and soak up the chill vibes of our little hidden gem in the East County of San Diego. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer retreat from the cold, snowbirds welcome :) Take a drive to the wineries in Ramona, or to the quaint town of Julian or Alpine or just stay & relax. We are located on the border of El Cajon and Lakeside in San Diego (about 20 miles east of Downtown) with easy access to the 8 freeway. We love sharing our land and space with travelers, tourists, artists and friends. We have a 2.5 acre property and the apartment is tucked away down at the pool, separated from the main house. The pool is shared with our small family as well as anyone staying in our yurt, which is it's own private area and another loft apartment, which is tucked away in it's own private area as well. Nearby activities include Lake Jennings, which offers fishing and hiking, as well as several gorgeous parks to visit.. perfect for a family or working vacation. Not to mention all of what San Diego has to offer :) Perfect for a snowbird vacation or on the way to the wineries in Ramona or Temecula, you really can't go wrong in San Diego :) There is an outdoor bathroom that is shared while using the pool. Apartment has it's own gated front porch that is not shared, very private. Use of BBQ and outdoor bathroom for guests staying at the lounge as well. 3 guest maximum please.
