Our recently remodeled ranch in the city is close to everything. We have 3 bedrooms and 3 baths perfect for 6 guests, each bedroom equipped with room darkening shades to aid in sleeping-in (you're vacationing here, after all, so indulge). The open plan living room, dining room, and kitchen has plenty of counter space making for great entertaining. This area leads directly to our large screened porch, which is great for just relaxing anytime: morning coffee, afternoon naps, or evening cocktails. If you just need to watch TV there are several, in addition to the one in the media room all with UVerse U300 digital cable (most channels in HD). WIFI is also available.
Situated in a quiet neighborhood close to Seneca Park and two top local golf courses - one public and one private (PGA Championship held at Big Springs GC in the 1960s). Convenient to Bowman Field if you are flying in for the big race and 3 different interstate exits for easy arrival and departure if you're driving. Fifteen minutes from downtown and closer to the trendy nightspots of the Highlands, NuLu and Frankfort Avenue. Approximately 20 minutes from SDF and Churchill Downs with normal traffic flow (exception: Oaks and Derby Days!)
