Sitting on a scenic 1-acre site overlooking a private trout pond – this place will inspire, relax and reward you with a life experience you will never forget!
This beautiful resort-feel chalet has 3 generations of family charm and history that make it an experience you will never forget! Very private but has great access to several local ski areas and the historical town of Truckee. Owned by the Wiggins family, this incredibly warm and unique home has a lot of ski history dating back to the 1940’s. Local ski Resorts include: Sugar Bowl, Donner Ski Ranch, Soda Springs, Boreal Mountain, Palisades and Northstar in addition to Royal Gorge Cross Country Resort.
Over the years, the family has updated this beautiful mountain house to include an amazing Knotty Pine remodel with modern appliances, while preserving the original feel and legacy of the late Ski Legend Jim Wiggins. Out under the stars off the back porch – you will find an awesome 5-person Hot Tub that will soothe those muscles after a big day on the slopes!
Wigloo is equipped with newer kitchen appliances including a trash compactor, dishwasher, microwave and gas stove / oven. In the Living room is a large Smart-TV and there is WIFI for the TV and 5G Internet connection. The Laundry Room has a full-size stacked washer / dryer. There is also a back-up generator in-case the power should go out.
