Perfectly situated on Buccaneer Point with endless views over eastern Florida Bay, this clean, charming 4 bedroom, 3 bath Keys cottage is a nature lover's paradise. Watch herons stalk fish as you enjoy breakfast on the back porch patio. Stroll the dock to check for fish, lobster, crabs, starfish, etc. View the variety of bird species that visit daily. Set a chair in the beach sand to wiggle toes in the water or catch some rays. Read or chill in a hammock under one of two chickees. For water fun there are 3 double kayaks, a single kayak, 3 stand up paddleboards (SUP), a canoe, floats and numerous inflatables. Kayak or paddle north to see the osprey nest, south to see the manatee lagoon; for real adventure head out to the nearby islands of the eastern Everglades.
The house on two levels has strong wifi signal throughout. Upper level is the main living space has a central great room combines living area, kitchen and dining promotes togetherness. The comfortable living space has leather sofas, plush chairs and a 65” LG Smart TV. Kitchen has all granite center island and countertops with loads of appliances for those who choose to cook/bake. The adjacent dining area seats six, there are four stools at the center island and back patio table seats six so lots of places to eat. Upper level bedrooms are master bedroom has king bed, ceiling fan, 42 " LG Smart TV and jacuzzi tub in the bathroom; 2nd bedroom has full bed, 3rd bedroom has twin beds. Upper level has two bathrooms, master bathroom and a shared hall bathroom for bedrooms 2, 3. Lower level has a 4th bedroom with queen bed, an additional gathering/living space with twin beds, a sleeper-sofa and the 3rd bathroom.
The property is located just south of 'downtown' Key Largo and is 80 minutes from Miami International Airport with easy access to all the spectacular Florida Keys. Tavernier is 10 minutes to the south; Islamorada is a 15 minute drive, Marathon is about an hour away and it is a nice 2 1/2 hour drive to Key West (but with all the cool places to stop on the way, it's hard to do it in under 3 hours).
As you consider where you to spend your Keys vacation be aware there are many "waterfront" properties listed; some may be on a canal, others with a water view if you stretch your head out a window. This property is direct bayside frontage with sandy beach to promote maximum enjoyment of the water on your vacation.
