Bright, sunny, mid-century modern family home situated in the heart of Marinwood, one of the most desirable family neighborhoods in Marin County. With classic Eichler architecture in a peaceful residential neighborhood, our home is made up of a master bedroom with sliding glass doors to the backyard, two children's bedrooms, and an office with a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two more. Our dining room, kitchen, and living room are situated in the middle of the house, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out from the living room onto the backyard. An additional patio space just off the kitchen has room to grill on the barbecue and enjoy drinks at the bar table under the terrace. A private 1-car garage is available as well.
The Marinwood neighborhood, within the city of San Rafael, is located in Marin County, just 17 miles north of San Francisco. You're at the Golden Gate Bridge in 20 minutes - but can also skip the drive and take the ferry across the bay. With hiking and mountain biking right out the front door, and either the city of San Francisco or Napa Wine Country a stone's throw away, you're perfectly situated for a peaceful, happy vacation.
Marin is full of expansive open space and hiking trails. The family friendly neighborhood of Marinwood has plenty to offer, with a community pool, tennis courts, and playgrounds just a few minutes' walk down the street, and mountain biking and hiking to your heart's content. With wild space at our doorstep, deer, coyotes, birds, and bobcats are our neighbors, and can often be found visiting Miller Creek, which runs through the neighborhood.
