A Cabin by Heath began in 2012 with Heath Ceramics' owners looking for the perfect spot for the pleasure of time with nature, family and friends. Today, their home has entered a new chapter with new owners. It's still available to guests desiring a space for retreat, in a home of beautiful interiors, Alpine views and great access to the fun of Alpine Meadows and North Tahoe.
The cabin was built in 1973 the original character was restored and aspects of the space were updated to create a warm environment. There are 3 original bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a new 4th bedroom with built-in bunk beds. There is a stackable washer dryer in a closet in this room. All the major appliances are of high quality and recently updated. This is a perfect retreat for two families or groups of friends who enjoy the outdoors and want to escape to the mountains for a quiet getaway in a great location.
The cabin is in the Bear Creek neighborhood of Alpine Meadows with views of Palisades Tahoe peaks. It has a creek in its yard and is close to the swimming pond. The interiors are furnished from Heath's collections. You can ski, snowshoe, hike, bike, and swim all within walking distance of the home. And don't forget beautiful Lake Tahoe is only 10 minutes away.

*We recommend 4 x 4 or AWD in the winter. The Alpine Meadows neighborhood is windy and could be slippery in the winter months.
*There is no air conditioning at the property. We recommend opening the windows at night to let in the cool Tahoe air.
*The parking pad will only accommodate 2 vehicles, and will be a tight fit for a camper or trailer. There is no street parking or alternative locations near the property so please plan accordingly for parking.
