Positive: The house is clean and comfortable. The location is convenient.

Negative: The communication was not great. What they call a security deposit is actually a cleaning fee of $200 it is written in the list of fine print. What they call in the comments “a small cleaning fee” when someone asked if it was really only $50 for one night is quite a big fee for short rentals. It is worth it for a long stay but for short stays it makes this place not a bargain. This was my third rental this month and none of the others charged as high a cleaning fee and they all included it in the initial price. It feels like intentional to get picked for “the good price” also the check in was complicated, the links to get verified were long and the deposit link was wrong so we waited outside trying to pay this “security deposit” just to get in. It was way too much work for a three night stay. I would have preferred they be more upfront as they were otherwise professional and the house is fine. I will definitely stick to Airbnb in the future much easier verified once and costs are upfront. The futon sofa is very uncomfortable as a sofa, the dining room table was wobbly, the throw pillows needed a good clean. The back “yard” was empty (no furniture) and smelled like an alley.
