Summary: The property is well-situated, adjacent to the Santa Cruz beaches and a short drive to downtown Santa Cruz. It is clean, the beds are comfortable and the in-room refrigerator and coffee maker are nice. However, there are several key improvements needed:- in-room storage closets, bureaus - the hanger bar is pitiful.- more towels: two towels for a two-room suite is not sufficient and reception closes at 10:00.- longer hours for the lobby refreshment shop and/or a vending machine; closing a 10:00 PM is unacceptable.
