The Float House is located in a quiet neighborhood of Desert Hot Springs on the edge of Joshua Tree National Park and only 15 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. This stylish place to stay is well-equipped and curated with modern decor, perfect for group trips to the desert. Our backyard oasis is a serene spot to spend all day floating in the pool. You are sure to enjoy all of the amenities this home has to offer.
This clean and bright 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is perfect for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen comes fully equipped with pots, pans, cookie sheets, blender, coffee maker, and more. In the living room, you will find a large sectional and chairs, 55" smart TV, travel books, and games. Two of the bedrooms feature queen beds (bunk beds in one of these rooms), luggage rack and closet space for your belongings. The primary bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with shower, king bed, tv, luggage rack, closet space, and dresser.
The home comfortably sleeps 10 (1 king, 2 queen, 1 bunk bed/2 twin mattresses, and one queen air mattress).
There is a workspace (desk and chair) for those who need to catch up on business. We also have a record player, board games, and workout equipment for some fun extra amenities.
Each bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided as well as hair dryers for your use.
The outdoor space, enclosed by a fence, features a private heated pool, outdoor dining, and 4 pool loungers. In the garage, you'll find the washer & dryer as well as a wall of floats with many choices to choose from (including a beer pong float).
Pool heat is NOT INCLUDED. Heat is an additional $65/day and can be paid through Airbnb. Please give us a minimum of 24 hrs notice for pool heat. We will turn on the heater remotely to a comfortable 85 degrees.
We ask that you please respectful to our friendly neighbors as we are by keeping noise and music to a minimum. No amplified music is allowed. While the home is designed to be very private, we are still in a residential area. all outdoor noise/voices cutoff time is 9:59pm, in accordance with city ordinances.
NO SMOKING INSIDE:
While we do not allow smoking in the house, we do allow you to smoke outside on our property. Any violation will incur a $300 security deposit and/or additional cleaning fee
HOUSEKEEPING:
Our cleaning team provides the best care in disinfecting the home between all stays and making sure it is ready for use when you arrive. Additionally, disinfecting cleaner will be left for your use if needed.
Your cleaning fee takes care of everything. We make clean up simple so you can maximize your vacation time.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED:
Desert Hot Springs has ordinances in place allowing neighbors to call regarding noise complaints, and we will be notified immediately. Repeated violation will result in a request to vacate the property.

You have access to the entire home.
The pool is fenced, but there is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk... but have a blast!
We also have security cameras on the outside of the home to monitor deliveries and maintenance. No cameras are inside the house or facing the pool. We respect your privacy!
